Service Description

Welcome to our "Medical" Qigong class, where we invite you to embark on a journey of self-discovery and holistic wellness. Led by Hitomi, our classes are designed to introduce you to the profound benefits of this ancient practice, rooted in traditional Chinese medicine. At our core, we prioritize the promotion of well-being through gentle movement, breathwork, visualization and mindfulness techniques. While we deeply believe in the transformative potential of Qigong, it's important to clarify that we do not make claims regarding its ability to cure illnesses or serve as a medical treatment. Instead, Hitomi shares her personal experience and the healing benefits she has derived from this practice on her own journey to recovery. Our mission is to empower you to cultivate harmony within your body, mind, and spirit, offering tools to enhance your overall health and vitality. Whether you're seeking stress relief, improved flexibility, or a deeper connection to yourself, our classes provide a supportive environment for growth and self-exploration. Join us as we embrace the wisdom of ancient practices to nurture wellness. About Hitomi, originally from Tokyo; "Healing comes from the alignment of the body, mind, and heart." My journey to Qigong began after I had twice battled cancer. It was the time of the pandemic in late 2020, and I was tired of the medication's side effects. I delved into extensive research, looking for alternative ways to heal from surgery. I stumbled upon Qigong, a Chinese energy healing method which has been practiced for more than 5,000 years. I gave it a try. In a short time, my depression from the surgery and the Covid lockdowns lifted. Following the system of meditation, slow flowing movements and deep rhythmic breathing, I felt more energy, less stress and pain. I could focus and concentrate better. I found Qigong to be a powerful self healing practice. I studied and became a certified trainer. Qigong has guided me to trust my inner voice and encouraged me to live from my heart. I invite you to restore your health and well being as you practice with me. 30 Mins of Halotherapy may be included in this class. *Medical Qigong is a recognized style of Qigong. We do not make claims regarding its ability to cure illnesses or serve as a medical treatment. Saturday's 10-11am
