Kelly’s Bio: My journey with yoga spans two decades, during which I developed a profound affinity for the structured and challenging nature of the Ashtanga yoga tradition. I pursued my first 300-hour Vinyasa Flow teacher training in 2013 and completed two subsequent apprenticeships in Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga yoga (Mysore style). I taught both styles for several years while continuously expanding my knowledge through study with various certified Ashtanga mentors. In recent years I recognized my personal practice needed to evolve. I incorporated Pilates, and in 2023, I discovered a new tradition of Vinyasa-style yoga known as Inside Flow. It is an empowering and often emotionally moving practice. My wish is to share this practice with others. I have completed 100 hours of Inside Flow teacher training and will complete another 100 hours by the end of 2024. Simultaneously, I am undergoing an additional 200-hour Inside Yoga teacher training to stay current and open to new information and emerging trends. I believe yoga practitioners should make room in their practice for the inevitability of change. While I deeply appreciate tradition, I consider it crucial to welcome new insights from science, embrace emerging traditions, and allow for the continual evolution of our own selves. As a yoga teacher, I remain committed to daily practice and lifelong learning, and I am hopeful that I can share what I have learned with my students. Please bring your YOGA MAT.
